What is the Schaudepot? The Schaudepot was initiated by Melanie Mohren and Bernhard Herbordt. The Game by Viviana González Méndez
The Game by Viviana González Méndez: This game comes from learning about how traditions, coming from rural and suburban context of popular Andean world, understand and create relationships with their surroundings. Distilled from these traditions is, especially, the idea that space is understood as a community of beings that are interwoven and in constant dialogue with each other. By this logic, there is no hierarchical difference between the human and other beings. But if we accept that places can be beings, then we should also include them as part of this community. And what surrounds us are not simply objects but living entities with which we could establish relations of reciprocity.

From the vision of global sharing to a needs-oriented center – discussion laboratory of the Stuttgarter teilbar e.V. with guests, 28.10.2023, 3-4:30 pm This conversation lab by Tom Knaffl with Surja Ahmed, Claus Baumann, Heide Fischer, Janka Kluge and Paula Kohlmann is about sharing. It’s also about ideas, and spaces, knowledge and resources. What does it mean to share? What structures enable sharing processes? Tom Knaffl, founder of the Verein teilbar e. Astroneto: Dance in Space by Jorge Alencar und Neto Machado: The first book in the ‘Paper Choreography’ collection, ‘Astroneto: dance in space’ originates from the performance ‘Desastro’, by Neto Machado, which dives into the adventure of Major Tom, from the song “Space Oddity” by David Bowie, in his travel to space and attempt to explore the unknown.

The Schaudepot – Spezial V – Die Gesellschaft (The Society), Kodak et al., 18.3.2023, 2-8 p.m.: Schaudepot Special presents, among other things, in the afternoon ‘The Society’ and ‘The Children's Society’ with guests from around the world, an ‘An idea lab on the potential of virtual reality for blind and visually impaired persons’ by and with Steven Solbrig, Matthias Nagel and guests. In the evening we look forward to the reception on the occasion of the German Theater Award ‘Der Faust’ for ‘Das Schaudepot’ and the presentation of the new performance ‘Kodak’ for adults and children by and with Jorge Alencar and Neto Machado!

The ‘Blinding Virtual Reality?’ lab. On the potential of virtual reality for blind and visually impaired persons by and with Steven Solbrig, Matthias Nagel and guests / 18.3.2023, 4:00-5:30 pm.: Together, in this idea lab, we explore the potential of performative formats of virtual reality for blind and visually impaired people, and look for a plot, for initial impulses for a digital storytelling and performing.

The Children's Festival & Dance Library: Festival Fantasies / 12.11.2022, 3-4 pm: The Schaudepot für die Darstellende Künste presents a music workshop for children with Anja Füsti and Tina Pantisano on Saturday afternoon from 3 pm to 4 pm. In parallel, there is the live online performance, ‘Dance Library’ by Jorge Alencar and Neto Machado as a program for escorts and parents.

The Schaudepot - lunch break The Schaudepot always opens on Tuesdays for a quick performance during the lunch break. The Black Circle by Emilija Tolj and Cennet Uyar The black circle symbolizes the characteristics and abilities of people with experiences of discrimination that are stripped out and cut out by the white majority society. The Festival by Herbordt/Mohren
Teilbar e. V. “Teilbar” is a library of things at Lerchenstrasse 37 in Stuttgart-West. Everyday things that are not often used are shared and can be lent out. Das Schaudepot is a cooperation partner of the Teilbar project. Little Wonders of the Prairie by Bureau Baubotanik
Little Wonders of the Prairie by Bureau Baubotanik: “Kleine Wunder der Prärie” (“Little Wonders of the Prairie”) is a short stroll through the botanical landscape to the collection of small and medium sized discoveries. The children’s festival – Music-Workshop for children, 2nd of April 2022 / 4-5 p.m. (CET) In the workshop “The Children’s Festival” with Anja Füsti and Tina Pantisano, you play excerpts of new music pieces yourself, and even make music while chewing. registration required at info@die-institution.org Opening, 4 July 2021
