The Schaudepot für die Darstellende Künste presents a music workshop for children with Anja Füsti and Tina Pantisano on Saturday afternoon from 3 pm to 4 pm. In parallel, there is the live online performance, ‘Dance Library’ by Jorge Alencar and Neto Machado as a program for escorts and parents.

‘The Children's Festival’ by and with Anja Füsti and Tina Pantisano
For the performance ‘Das Festival’ by Herbordt/Mohren, eleven composers have written new pieces of music for children. With crackling frogs, ears of corn, sound postcards, Duplo bricks, tin bowls, a marble run and a tent as instruments. In the workshop, children play extracts of these pieces themselves, make a ‘super ball’ and even make music while chewing.

‘Dance Library’ by and with Jorge Alencar and Neto Machado
Parallel to the children's workshop, a program for accompanying persons and parents is offered. ‘Dance Library: Festival Fantasies’ is a choreographic situation by and with Jorge Alencar and Neto Machado. The live online performance is based on their installation ‘Dance Library’. Here and there, the two transform their bodies into dancing books and tell the audience about almost forgotten performances. Interactive and intimate. ‘Dance Library: Festival Fantasies’ was created as part of ‘Das Festival’ by Herbordt/Mohren. In the Schaudepot on November 12: an online performance via Zoom with the two choreographers, live from Salvador da Bahia, Brazil.
