The Schaudepot – Special VII – New neighbors, online and on site at the Schaudepot, 28.10.2023, 2-8 pm

‘The Schaudepot – Special VII’ starts at the neighboring Theater Rampe with a walk. Walking along to the Schaudepot with our longtime idealistic neighbors Jorge Alencar and Neto Machado from Salvador (Bahia). In about 8 minutes and 31 seconds. Because that’s about how long it takes for the sun’s light to reach its planetary neighbor – Earth.

In the Schaudepot, the ‘SOLi-Dach - die Solarenergie-Initiative’ of the Theater Rampe will have an information table; visitors can also look forward to a discussion forum, organized by our Stuttgart neighbors from the teilbar e.V. initiative and Tom Knaffl, with Surja Ahmed, Claus Baumann, Heide Fischer, Janka Kluge, Paula Kohlmann and others; presentations of ‘Die Gesellschaft’ (The Society) (participation via Zoom possible) with the temporary neighbors Deepika Arwind from Bangalore and Kate Brehme from Berlin; the presentation of the first issue of the publication series ‘Schaudepot Recherchen’ (Schaudepot Research) edited by Melanie Mohren and Bernhard Herbordt, as well as a text from Dirk Sorge and Steven Solbrig (‘Ableism as Usual? Eine Einführung in die Geschichte von Kunst und Behinderung / An introduction to the history of art and disability’) in conversation with Kate Brehme (participation via Zoom possible); a food performance by and with Marcus Bergmann and many more
