Tisch-Performances II, 19.7.2025, 18 Uhr

,Ephemeral Sharings / Peripheral archive – Work in Progress‘ by Emilia Dorr

,Ephemeral Sharings is a performance that investigates how institutional archives influence the preservation or suppression of memory. The piece reflects on the power institutions wield over remembrance, while simultaneously highlighting the personal and communal efforts to resist this power. It asks what it means to create or revive a shared archive, seeking to give a voice to what's outside the main record and, perhaps, rescuing marginal memories.‘ Emilia Dorr

Emilia Dorr is an argentinian choreographer and performance artist. Graduated from Choreographic Composition with a major in Body Expression from the National University of the Arts (UNA) in Buenos Aires and of the Master's Degree in Experimental Performance Theory and Practice at the University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart (HMDK), Emilia Dorr's works move on the surface of interdisciplinary performances. Her latest research and productions – ,Ways to dip up the mountain‘ premiered at Theatre Rampe and ,within‘ presented as part of ,Interventions - Zwischennutzung Metropol- Kino‘ - have focused on ,relating‘ in contexts in order to inhabit otherness and create a shared experience with the audience.

,Table Performance‘ by Saghar Hosseinpour

,In my current project, I work with remembering/recalling as well as bodily accumulations. I walk on the border of different realities, editing in real time, tying the fragments in a non-chronological order that constantly changes my relationship with others/spectators.‘ Saghar Hosseinpour

Saghar Hosseinpour began her choreography practice in Tehran while a BA student in economics and working as a creative journalist, and teacher. She later did her MA at ICI CCN (Institut Chorégraphique International) in Montpellier/France. She has accomplished long-term projects, performances and publications in Iran, Europe, and Türkiye, also several interdisciplinary collaborations for video work, urban inquiries, and exhibitions. Her practice has been always to create situations that embrace constant change and unpredictability where she can exist as a mediator.

In Kooperation mit der Akademie Schloss Solitude. Gefördert durch die Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart.
